We operate in many geographical locations throughout mainland Scotland and in the
North of England.
Currently employing over 50 staff, we offer a flexible but efficient contract managed multi trade solution to deliver the desired outcome to meet with your project requirements. We are Constructionline, Construction Health and Safety (CHAS) and Safecontractor Registered and undertake works across a range of values. We are currently working towards obtaining ISO 14,001 and ISO 18,001 to further reinforce our environmental and safety responsibilities.
We have enjoyed sustained and controlled growth and are committed to providing a ‘first class service’ to clients and construction professionals. We seek to achieve this by promoting close working relationships within the project team and aim to understand and manage client specific requirements and needs. We control project works efficiently with our own skilled and experienced site based tradesmen and contract management personnel who are supported by our head office compliance, purchasing and finance functions.
Insite Contracts maintains a strong relationship with a number of blue chip clients and works with many architectural, surveying and project management practices.
MEET OUR TEAM
Ronnie Millar Managing Director Ronnie is one of the founding Directors of Insite Contracts and has over 20 years experience working within the property and construction industry. Originally a Building Control Officer, he returned to University to study and obtain a BSc (Hons) in Building Surveying and thereafter was employed in Building Surveying and Project Management positions in Edinburgh and Glasgow. Ronnie has spent the majority of his career working in the construction industry, specialising in refurbishment and fit out work.
Ronnie is responsible for the procurement and continuity of work for the business, including all estimating, cost development, tendering and bid management processes.
Scott McMillanConstruction Director
Scott is also one of the founding Directors of Insite Contracts and has over 20 years experience working within the construction industry. After leaving University having obtained a degree in Construction Engineering and Management, Scott was originally employed in the NHS in a Capital Planning Role. Scott has now spent the majority of his career working in construction and specialises in all type of construction, specialising in refurbishment and fit out. Scott has particular expertise in healthcare environments and now has over 20 years involvement in the delivery of related projects.
Scott is responsible for the operational aspects of the business, including the programming, planning and delivery of all projects.
Paul Whitters Contracts Manager
Paul has been with Insite Contracts since the company was formed in 2004. Originally a time served joiner, Paul has developed his career within Insite Contracts progressing through Foreman, Site Manager & Contract Manager positions. A dedicated member of our team who has gained a wealth of experience in fit out and refurbishment type projects. Paul also has a strong knowledge of healthcare related works and has managed many related projects including most recently the £0.85M upgrade and refurbishment of ward areas at Hairmyres Hospital, East Kilbride to form new facilities for Dementia patients.
David Stewart Senior Contracts & Maintenance Manager
David has been with Insite Contracts since the company was formed in 2004. Originally a time served joiner with a background in shop-fitting, David has developed his career in the construction industry progressing through Foreman, Site Manager & Contract Manager positions and has gained in particular a comprehensive experience & knowledge of office and healthcare fit out projects. A hard working, committed and personable member of the team, David has responsibility for many of the larger projects Insite Contracts has undertaken, including the £1.4M upgrade of the central kitchen and dining facilities at GJNH for Greater Glasgow NHS Trust. David has overall responsibility for the Maintenance Division of Insite Contracts.
Ken McLeod Health, Safety and Compliance Manager
Originally with a background in retail working for one of the large multiples, Ken gained experience in the operational side of the business with responsibility for store development, planning and delivery. Ken thereafter developed his career in Health, Safety and Compliance and has been employed in senior roles within the construction industry joining Insite Contracts at the beginning of 2014. Ken has responsibility for the implementation and management of Health and Safety processes, Sub Contractor Evaluation and Compliance matters.
Gerry Deighan Contracts Manager
Gerry joined Insite Contracts in 2005 as an experienced Contracts Manager and has a wealth of experience in all aspects of fit out and refurbishment type works as well as small scale general construction works. Gerry has completed many projects and has considerable knowledge of working in live environments including office, healthcare and hotel as well as the requirements and considerations associated with these types of work.
Stevie Irwin Manager (Decoration Division)
A more recent member of the project team, Stevie joined Insite Contracts at the end of 2012 and holds the position of Decoration Manager. Originally a time served Decorator, Stevie has held a number of senior positions within decorating and contracting organisations as well as managing his own business. Stevie has a strong knowledge of all aspects of decoration and whilst managing our own decorating squads brings an additional level of quality, control and flexibility to our organisation.
Kevin Daly Site Manager
Kevin is an experienced Site Manager and joined Insite Contracts in 2004 as our first employee. A time served joiner, Kevin combined his working career with study and has progressed his knowledge both academically and practically. Kevin has been involved in many varieties of projects and has gained a sound knowledge of all types of fit out and refurbishment project work. Kevin has worked as Site Manager on some of Insite Contracts larger projects including the new Clinical Skills Training Facility at Golden Jubilee National Hospital and the 2 floor fit out at ‘Atria 1’, Morrison Street, Edinburgh for Brewin Dolphin plc.
John Russell Site Manager
John is an experienced Site Manager and joined Insite Contracts in 2005. John has a sound knowledge of all types of fit out and refurbishment and often takes responsibility for projects where complex structural and temporary works schemes are required. John has worked as Site Manager on some of Insite Contracts larger projects projects including most recently the £0.85M upgrade and refurbishment of ward areas at Hairmyres Hospital, East Kilbride to form new facilities for Dementia patients.

Jane McCready Company Accountant Jane joined Insite contracts in 2006 and has responsibility for all financial and related compliance matters.
Donna McMillan Office Manager Donna joined Insite contracts in 2006 and holds the role of Office Manager, taking responsibility for all administrative matters.
Chris McLean Company Buyer Chris joined Insite contracts in 2012 and holds the role of Company Buyer.
Insite Contracts has many directly employed and dedicated foremen, joiners, decorators, labourers and drivers working together to achieve our common objectives. We enjoy particularly high staff retention and many of our staff members have been employed since Insite was formed and over the years have evolved their roles within the Company.
Andrew Mason Estimating Surveyor Andrew joined Insite contracts in 2007 and is a key member of our Estimating Team.
Donna Dawson Accounts & Admin Support Donna joined Insite contracts in 2011 and provides valuable financial and administrative support as part of our office based team.
OUR SUB CONTRACTORS & SUPPLIERS
Our sub contractors and suppliers are a key element of our business as the nature of each project can vary and the need to engage with supplementary and specialist services is invariably required on each project. Insite has an extensive data base of sub contractors and suppliers who, given our reputation, are happy to competitively price to us and collaborate on projects as and when required.
